About Us

Why We're Different?

We are far from just another green beauty shop. There’s a lot to us, that you won’t find anywhere else. Whether it’s in our product selection, our values, practices or purpose, we’re unique in more ways than one. At Living Earth Beauty we are always striving to provide the highest quality experience for our customers. We are known for our outstanding customer service, unique products and extremely fast delivery times, but that’s not where it ends.

Eco-Consciousness

Not only are our products 100% clean, sustainable and beyond fair trade, even things like our packaging materials are eco-friendly. Our shipping boxes, packing peanuts and paper, are all either recycled or made from sustainable, recyclable or re-usable material.

Our packing peanuts are made from corn and are 100% biodegradable… and edible if you ask our dog, Joey. Our paper invoices are 100% tree-free and made from sugar cane, a completely sustainable and renewable resource.

Occasionally bubble wrap is used to provide more protection when needed and too keep small/extra fragile fragile items together in a bag so they don't get lost or broken. Many times this is re-used material as well from shipments we receive and hope you can find a way to re-use it next time your mailing or moving something that needs extra protection.

Supported Causes

Beagle Freedom Project Logo SquareBeagle Freedom Project

Beagle Freedom Project rescues beagles and other animals used in animal testing facilities across the globe. The animals are rehabilitated, and then placed with fosters before they find their forever, loving homes. You can help support their cause even more by donating directly to Beagle Freedom Project.

While BFP’s rescues are absolutely critical to each individual life, their greater mission is to END animal testing for good, a mission we stand firmly in active belief of. A portion of every order is donated to their cause. To learn more about Beagle Freedom Project and animal testing visit our Animal Testing Education Page.

World Animal Protection LogoWorld Animal Protection

World Animal Protection, formerly known as World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA), work around the world to end the needless suffering of animals and inspire people to change animals’ lives for the better. But every day, in every country, millions of animals are suffering. And the more people who know about WAP, the more animals they can reach.

They work to protect animals in the wild, communities, farming businesses, after disasters, and help educate people worldwide on the importance of animal welfare. A portion from every order we receive is donated to World Animal Protection. You can also donate directly to help support World Animal Protection.

Campaign for Safe Cosmetics LogoCampaign For Safe Cosmetics

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics coalition, a project of the Breast Cancer Fund, works to protect the health of consumers, workers and the environment through public education and engagement, corporate accountability and sustainability campaigns, and legislative advocacy designed to eliminate dangerous chemicals linked to adverse health impacts from cosmetics and personal care products.

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics shares the concerns of people around the world whose health is compromised by exposure to toxic chemicals in personal care products, other consumer products and a whole host of industrial emissions. They also share the concerns of people who care deeply about the impact of these chemicals on lab animals, companion animals, wildlife, and the health of the planet for future generations. A portion of every order we receive is donated to The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, and you can also donate directly to support the movement.

Customer Service

We’re humans. We feel, we hear, we have compassion and endless gratefulness for the people who choose to spend their money and time in our store. We treat every person with the attention and respect they deserve.

We always answer emails as quickly as possible. Usually within 24 hours if not sooner, and will answer after hours and on weekends if they are urgent. Phone calls are harder for us, due to us having small children who are with us full time. This is something we’ll try to improve as time goes on, but we ask for your understanding that we are also parents.

If some kind of situation arises that doesn’t fit within the confines of our company policies, reach out to us. We will always see if there is something we can make an exception on. Every situation is unique, and we treat them as such. For more information visit our Contact Us page.

We are not a big corporate robot, we’re a couple of people trying to make a difference in the world, but we wouldn’t be here without our amazing customers. To learn more about us visit Our Story.

Education

We’re not know-it-alls, but we are constantly striving to educate ourselves on issues that are important. It’s an evolving thing. We’re never done learning. What we want to bring to Living Earth Beauty is an extension of our studies to help bring awareness to others on topics we really care about and that matter globally.

#ToxTalk starting the discussion on toxic ingrediants in the beauty & personal care industryOur #ToxTalk page is an evolving project on all things related to the pervasive toxicity the resides in the beauty and health industries. What ingredients to avoid, and the reasons to avoid them. This is important because toxic chemicals are still the norm in the largest cosmetics, personal and home care companies, especially in the US where there is no regulation or safety testing required before these products go to market.

Paw PrintOur Animal Testing Education page intends to shed light on what animal testing actually is. It’s far worse than it sounds, and a lot of people have no idea. This is a big issue for us, and we’re working to help eliminate this extremely flawed practice all together. So many companies use these horrendous methods on their own behalf, as it is not required here in the US, and is banned in several countries. It’s time for the suffering to end, please join us in this fight.

Thank you so much for visiting Living Earth Beauty and taking the time to read about us and the things we really, really care about. You're awesome!
