Old Orchard is artisan skin & body care that blends time-honored natural ingredients with fresh, effective formulation. In 2011, artist and founder Amy Traynor moved from NYC to small town New Hampshire in pursuit of a simpler way of life. Her journey closer to nature reconnected her to a holistic approach to health, wellness, and beauty, and she began formulating products that work in harmony with the body and mind to heal and restore balance. Old Orchard was born from a desire to create, to fuse art and science, and to share the gift of healthy, natural beauty.
As an artist and a maker, my background in visual art has inspired the brand from the very beginning. I treat each formulation and its packaging like a work of art, giving attention to even the smallest details. It’s important to me that the products are at once beautiful, functional, and unique. I love sharing these products with people as much as I enjoy creating them, so I strive to craft the kind of object that is striking, memorable, and worthy of being wrapped up and given as a gift.
In addition to the design of the brand, Old Orchard offers high value, multi-purpose products that are as functional as they are beautiful. These small-batch, handcrafted skin and body care products are 100% natural, vegan, conscious formulations that are safe and effective for all skin types, working with the body to restore its natural, healthy balance.
I take a holistic approach to formulation by blending potent botanical ingredients with aromatherapeutic blends of essential oils to harmonize mind and body. Every ingredient is carefully chosen, creating synergies that enhance the overall effectiveness of each formula while promoting a deeply enjoyable sensory experience. Each product is the culmination of my creative process, a labor of love, made by hand, and handled with care.
I’m inspired by herbalism, chemistry, and the gifts mother nature gives us. It's my mission to share beautiful, effective products that re-imagine and redefine what natural skin and body care can be, without compromising health and wellbeing for results. The greatest gift of all is the body you're given. Care for it consciously.
